Last month, Darryl W. Perry announced his candidacy for the office of President. Seeking the Libertarian Partys nomination for the 2016 race, the 35-year-old New Hampshire activist became the first candidate from the third largest political party and is likely going to lead the most radical pro-liberty campaign this election cycle
.But Perry isnt running a traditional campaign, even by third party standards. Indeed, he has chosen not to accept any US dollar donations. To make his position official, he sent a letter, dated April 23, to the Federal Election Commission.
“I would like to inform you that on behalf of [my] campaign, the FEC will not be receiving a Statement of Organization, Statement of Candidacy, any financial reports, etc.,” the statement reads.
